Doctor appointments

I had three doctor appointments today. First, it was my one year old physical appointment with Dr. Tran. I got 4 vaccine shots and I only cried for a couple minutes. Dr. Tran even gave me a book. She said I did pretty good except not gaining enough weight. How come!! I only weight 18 lbs 6 oz (3.25% growth percentile), Height: 28.5 inches (12.99% growth percentile) Head circumference (7.08% growth percentile) I have been eating a lot. I can finish a bowl of porridge during dinner. Although I am picky sometimes, I do eat quite a lot. Mommy, daddy and grandparents are kind of confused. Anyway, Dr. Tran wants to see me in 3 months to make sure I gain adequate weight.

Then I had a urology appointment. It was a pre-op appointment as I am schedule to have circumcision on April 8. I developed hydrocele when I was 4 months old, therefore, I was referred to see an urologist. Today was a follow up visit. The hydrocele was disappeared. Give thanks to God, but Dr. Hernandez still recommend me to do the circumcision before I am 2 years old. Then we went to see the anesthesiolgist. They doctor explained to mommy and daddy about the procedure. However, it was getting close to noon and I was so sleepy. I cried harder than I was getting the shots. Of course, I felt asleep once I got into the car.

What a year!! I have been referred to urology, ophthalmology and dermatology department. I know it is hard on my parents. They have been doing lots of research to understand my disease state. My birthmark has not been growing bigger and darker for last couple of months.
