Day 70 - Met with Little Andrew

Mom and I met with Auntie Sophie and little Andrew for lunch in Hacienda Heights today. Since I didn't take a nap in the morning, I was asleep during the whole time. Auntie Sophie did not count this as our first meeting, so we will meet again later.

Plus, this was the first time I refused to sleep in the morning. Whenever Mommy "Sh", I responsed with "Eh" and gave her a cute look, so that she couldn't refuse to play with me. Finally, daddy took me downstairs and I talked to grandparents.

Day 67 - Met with Auntie Joyce(s)

Today, I met with two Auntie Joyces. First one, I met in church. I slept most of the time when I was in church, and Daddy woke me up to take picture with Auntie Joyce. And then in the afternoon, another Auntie Joyce visited me. She brought over some nice cakes.

Day 66 - Hin-Hin Meets Hin-Hin

Today, we had lunch with Auntie Michelle and Uncle Danlun. They came to LA for the long weekend. We had lunch in Cheese Cake Factory. It's a nice place. I love the ceiling's color a lot, and I stared at it the whole time. I finally met with brother Ethan, and I just found out that our Chinese names are very similar!

Day 65 - Rainy Day

Today, nothing very special as it rained very hard. Dad and Mom took me to apply my first passport. Mom said we will go to Canada in August.

I am so excited!!

Day 64 - More Pictures

Day 64- The day after immunization

I was very very tired last night when we got back home from the hospital. I guess because of the immunizations. But I felt good after sleeping for more than 5 hours following each feeding. Moreover, I am able to grasp a rattle and hold for a minute.

Day 63 - Two Month Check-up / Vaccine Shots

Today is my 2 months old check up at the hospital. I had very good mood throughout the day, and I smiled at Daddy a lot. In the afternoon, Daddy and Mommy took me to the hospital. I slept comfortably. Auntie Athena works in the hospital and she met me briefly right before my check-up. I hope next time I will be awake when I meet her.

Doctor said I weighted 10 lbs, 15.5 oz now, and I am 23.25 inches long. She said I am about 50% of percentile for the weight, and 75% of percentile for the height.

Day 62 - Passport Photoshoot

Tonight, Mom said I need to take pictures for 'passport'... BTW, what is a 'passport'? I have no idea. Mom said we will go to Uncle Horace's wedding in Canada, so I need the pictures to make 'passport'. I am kind of tired to be a model again...

Day 61 - I am 2 months old

Time flies, I am 2 months old already. I enjoy riding in the car, especially when it is moving.

Day 60 - Studio shot at home

Thanks Uncle Derick, Lenny and Wilson flied all the way from SF just to take studio shot for me this afternoon. I am waiting for the pictures.

Mom had to take a breastfeeding class before she go back to work today and 爺爺嫲嫲 went to LV to attend Uncle Johannes's graduation, therefore, i was left home with Daddy in the morning. But we were in a great team and everything was fine. Then we had dinner with Uncle Donald Fabian, Kit and Auntie Mable at night.

When I am satisfied during nursing, I will straighten all my fingers.

Day 57 - Kangaroo-mother care

The definition of Kangaroo-mother care is skin-to-skin contact between the baby front and the mother's chest. However, I modify this to skin-to-skin contact between the baby front and the mother's breast. You would like to find the softest place as pillow, not the chest, right? Haha!! Of course I cannot show you the skin-to-skin part.

Day 56 - Got caught sucking whole hand on tape

I attended a mother support group meeting today and met some new friends. Some are older than me and some are much younger than me. Mom realized that there is a lot for her to look forward later, for example, crawling away when changing diapers, refuse to take solid food...etc. Well, she weight me again and I am 10 lbs 12 oz today.

Day 55 - Preschool & meet new friends on tape

Mom has put my name on the waiting list for one of the Preschools in Arcadia, class of 2010. The school will inform mom whether I will get a space around March/April in 2010. Thanks mom.

Day 53 - Mother's Day

Today is my first mother's day. I really want to thank my Mom. She is the greatest Mom on earth. She feeds me well, and takes care of me. I also want to thank my two Grandmas. They helped my Mom a lot, and they help take care of me and Mom. I don't have anything valuable to give them.... But I promise, I will be a good boy :-) I love you, Mom. I love you, Grandmas!!
