Day 42 - First time going shopping

Today was my first time going out shopping at Costco. Plus, it was the first time for me going out without daddy. Mom put me in the car seat for the first time. No matter which direction we go (either 10 FWY or 210 FWY), I will fall asleep a block right before we get on the freeway.

Day 41 - 1 lbs 3 oz per day

Hurray!! I weight 9 lbs 6 oz today. I have gains around 1lb 3 oz a day since my last visit with Victoria, the lactation consultant two weeks ago. It is a very stable growth and mom is very happy about it. Moreover, I start laughing with noise today and making lots of wow sounds

Day 40 - Growth spurt again

I am at the the growth spurt again, around week 6. I had to be fed every 3 hours and there was one episode that I was hungry within 2 hours. But I smile a lot these days.

Day 39 - First time going to church

Today was my first time going to CUMC. Mom fed me at 10:15 am so that it could last me for 4 hours. However, there was some technical problem of my car seat before we left our house. So we were late for 20 minute. Uncle Joe introduced me as the first comer and I received a warm welcome from all the people in the church. I took lots of pictures with uncles and aunties. Again, I was very sleepy. I fell asleep before we arrived the church and slept all the way back home. Then it was the perfect time for me to be feed again.

Cont. Day 38 - Second generation of Fit group

Mom and dad had their fellowship at our house during lunch today with Uncle Kit, Auntie Stella and the Cheung's family. I finally met Joycelynn 姐姐. She is a very quiet girl. Both of us took a nap while the adults were having lunch and praying. I let her used my rocker while I was sleeping on my swing. Too bad that I was too sleepy. Hopefully I will be big enough to play with her next time.

I promise I will be awake next time to play with you, Joycelynn 姐姐.

Day 38 - Birth Announcement Cards

Today, Daddy made some cards for me. They are very nice!

Day 37 - Brother Nathan and More Photoshoots

This morning, Auntie Migo and brother Nathan came to visit me. I didn't know they were here so early, as I was having my meal. I feel sorry that I kept them waiting for so long. In the afternoon, Daddy took a few pictures of me and Mom again.

Day 36 - Feeding schedule

My feeding schedule is every 3-4 hours, 6 meals per day. Although it is kind of less for babies at my stage, I am still getting heavier everyday per grandparents.
However, the adults are really troublesome. Mom and dad worry that I am not eating enough now. They are afraid that I am starving. What do you want me to do, mom & dad? You were worried that I am getting too chubby last week as I gained 2 oz a day. If I am hungry, I cry and suck my fingers to let you know. If I am still hungry, I don't even let you burp me in between. I straighten my back like a wooden board that there is no way for you to burp me in a sitting up position or I will keep on kicking or moving that you cannot put me on your shoulder too. Therefore, do not think I am lazy. I just use my time wisely.
Anyway, mom still called Victoria, lactation consultant and asked lots of questions. She has booked an appointment to see her again on next Tuesday to make sure I am gaining adequate weight.

Day 35 - A walk in the neighborhood

Mom starts to take me for a walk in our neighborhood everyday for 30 minutes. It is nice to get some fresh air and listen to the birdies. It is so comfortable that I usually dose off before we leave our driveway, especially when they carry me in a carrier.

BTW, I am able to hold my hands together now.

Mom took me in a carrier today. I was very nervous in the begining, see I was holding my hand tight.

Day 34 - Bathing Experience

This morning, I am in very good mood. I slept well, and ate well. Daddy has just received a new camera yesterday. He took a few pictures when Grandma helping me to get bathed. As you can see, I love bathing a lot.

Day 33 - Swing

As I mentioned yesterday that I have a new toy- swing. Mom and dad tried to put me in again. In the beginning, I was very quiet. Mom and dad were looking at me guessing whether I was scared or satisfied. But I started crying after few minutes. Then they changed to different direction. Yes, I like the back and forth motion better than the side swing. I guess it minic the movement in Mom's tummy. I fell asleep right away and they finally had lunch and dinner together. I highly recommended this to other future moms and dads.

Also, I started to cooing more now. I make lots of "ayes" and "ahh" for last 2 days.

Day 32 - New toys

Hi, today, Mom and Dad are trying some new toys with me. First, in the afternoon, they put me on the carrier. At first, I didn't know what that was, and I felt very anxious. Later on, when I got used to it, I actually quite like it, and it was very comfortable. I fell sleep very soon. In the evening, Grandpa put me on the swing. It was the first time I tried a swing. I felt so excited, and I wanted it to go faster and faster!

Day 31

I have many visitors since Day 0. So I am very busy. Yesterday, Auntie Kelly visited me. Today, Auntie Anita visited me. Mom says that I behave very well in front of visitors. So, come and visit me often :-)

I behaves so well in my first dinner outing. (okay, it is not exactly my dinner, because I just watched every body else eating.) I didn't really cry for 3 hours, even in front of so many relatives that I had hardly ever met. Mom said because of my good behavior, I will have more chances to go out in the near future! Yea!
